Currently, these configurations use JRA55do version 1.4.0. This was the version used for OMIP2 and is formally replicated by NCI in the qv56 project. This data was published for 1958-2018

Many folks are interested and use the newer version of JRA55do which includes 2019- Jan 2024. This is currently held in the ik11 project.

We should consider adding this to the IAF configurations. And confirm its ok to extend the 1.4.0 data with the newer 1.5.x versions

Yes definitely. JRA55-do 1.4.0 had errors that have been fixed in 1.5.0.

Just noting - we should update all years to use JRA55do 1.5.0
