on power save it still using higher frequency

I installed auto-cpufreq on my pop os yesterday, but even though it's on powersave, it's still utilising a higher frequency. I'm not doing anything demanding, just browsing.

I have the same issue, also running Pop_OS (21.04). Installed auto-cpufreq using installer.

I sometimes see a couple cores go to 800 on mine but for the most part sticks to 2600Mhz

With v1.7.0 release it's now possible to manually define some of the settings instead of leaving everything to be picked up automatically. Could you try tweaking some of the available options and report back on how that worked for you? Thanks

I had similar experience as @MikeStutzzzz. After disabling intel_pstat I get better results. However, not my system feels a bit laggy. Is there an option to prevent this?
