Some issues that arose during the use of the program:
1)Can't extract text from google chrome. It extracts "Chrome Legacy Window". On the bookmarks works fine!
2)Also can't extract passwords stored behind asterisks (*****) from edge, chrome and mozilla browsers. It doesn't do anything
3)On Sublime text instead of extracting the text inside the file, it extracts the name of the file.
4)Can't extract text from my desktop. It says "NVIDIA GeForce Overlay" instead of the text the cursor points.
Sublime text Build: 4126
chrome version : 98.0.4758.102
edge version: 98.0.1108.50
firefox version: 97.0 (64-bit)
PC: DELL XPS 15 9570
OS: windows 11 pro
OS build: 22000.434
Version: 21H2
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with Max-Q Design
Graphic card drivers version: 30.0.15.1179
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
On Chromium-based browsers, try to access chrome://accessibility (it will redirect to edge://accessibility on Edge, doesn't matter), then check all under Accessibility modes.
You will need to do this every time you want to extract text from Chromium-based browsers, per (re-)launch of browser.
This workaround is provided by developer of another similar program.
