Hi,

can the project be used to access ItemTypes that are not in the TOC by default?
Or is it possible to extend the project to some kind of selectable admin mode, that can filter through all (!) ItemTypes, independent of whether a TOC Access is defined or not?

Use cases:

  • Error detection
  • ItemTypes could easier be added to packages (e.g. CUI items and sections)
  • Protect admins from tendonitis caused by excessive mouse clicks

Right now I am a little bit tired of setting the TOC Access to certain Items manually on/off/on/off/.. .
I also do not want to display to much stuff in the TOC by default.
Alternatively I can view the ItemTypes in the database directly, but this requires also many additional clicks.

Best regards!
Angela

Hi Angela,

Great question! I did create an action and a dialog that allowed administrators to manage which ItemTypes were displayed in the TOC from one screen; however, it seems I forgot to add the import to the package I pushed. When I get the chance in the next couple weeks, I'll be sure to add the import package in.
