Hi this is not a major issue, but an inconvenience I noticed after having moved lately from an old iPhone 11 to a new iPhone 15: Before, the app would just restart working after the phone restarted. Now, I noticed that after a phone restart, iAPS is open again as usual, but "frozen" with a blank screen, until I close and restart it.
"Live activity" will continue to display the last results, until you actually go to the frozen app, after that it is blank.
If you touch any button in the frozen app, the app will crash and propose to send a bug report.
Screenshot of the frozen app attached.
Not critical, but inconvenient, as I the first times I did not notice that I hadn't been looping until way later (because of "live activity" still showing values).
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

Please share your crash log (.ips) here for us to look at.

@Mirko-tri Are you using iOS 18 and have you tested very latest dev version? If you're still seeing the crash I would really like to see the Apple ips file.

Hey @Jon-b-m.

  • iPhone 15 Pro Max
  • iOS 18.2.1.
  • iAPS V5.8.0 (28) via Testflight. I am not sure I have the necessary knowledge to test dev versions without interfering with my treatment.

I just repeated the error and sent a comment in the crash log pop-up.
Would be happy to send the .ips file, but need guidance on how to do this, if that is not what I just did...

You’ll find the file in iOS Settings/privacy/Analytics/Data
