Describe the bug
When we use a distant light with a high intensity in storm or karma, the render will look correcty lit whereas in arnold it will be burned. After some research it is due to the way storm and karma normalize the value of the light when the attribute normalize is off. We want to have the same behaviour in arnold. We also need to double check the other lights and how they behave on different scenarios, with or without normalize.

Used Software Versions

  • Arnold: 7.3.5 +
  • USD: 23.11
