  • OS version and architecture used: Ubuntu 16.04

  • Version used: latest commit

Description of the issue:

azure-c-shared-utility changed constbuffer from CLONE to INC_REF/DEC_REF. So it is not possible to use the iot-edge-v1 and latest version of azure-iot-sdk-c at the same time.

See this comment in #657. Still no timeline for upgrading the version of the SDK this code compiles against.
