I have a question about Electromagnetic Solver that is best suited for simulating standard LWFA, assuming pre-ionized plasma. Yee algorithm, in general, is prone to dispersion and requires very high number of grids to properly resolve the electromagnetic field of the laser pulse, which is usually at least lambda/32 for small propagation lengths and even more for longer propagation lengths in plasma.
In your experience, is it advantageous to use Lehe, or PSTD or PSATD over the Yee algorithm for LWFA to make the simulation results more reliable.
