videobox gallery for joomla pagination not working

Hi there, I've created a videobox gallery populated with videos from vimeo. There is pagination showing, but it does not work, nor is it the pagination that the videobox code is calling for. Here is what I have...

On a single article page the opening line is:
{videobox? &display='gallery' &player='videobox' &perPage='8'}

In the videobox system plugin the gallery template includes [[+pagination]]

Two pagination options are visible, but neither one works. And neither reflects the 8 per page called for in the videobox parameters within the opening tags.

Any ideas would be appreciated?
