Is there a way to detect a lrc file before renaming the track and then renaming the lrc file?

It seems that the plugin doesn't detect lrc files properly whe trying to rename it. I played with the variables a little. This is my last attempt.

extrafiles:
    patterns:
        artworkdir:
          - '[sS]cans/'
          - '[aA]rtwork/'
        lyrics:
          - '*.lrc'
    paths:
        artworkdir: $albumpath/artwork
        lyrics: $albumpath/$filename.lrc
