Just a thought. These trv's may have schedules built in which can mess around with everything. Some posters mention that device sets itself to 'Auto'. I have had this problem and reset schedules manually to do nothing. Also the trv does not know the local time if we don't use Tuya hub. If it drifts then the problem may seem even more random.
