Show users kpis in charts like:

  • How many new records are processed this day / week / month / custom range
  • Which processes are currently running?
  • Show the progress of the respective processes
  • ...

Just for inspiration and for example like other tools (i. e. Duplicate Check) do.

Here is an open source solution from AppExchange called Lightning Web Chart.js Component

I'm not sure if you'd taken a look, but there's a dashboard packaged with the app with some of this information: https://cloudsundial.com/formulashare-dashboard. Other dashboard components could be added if you think something key is missing, and it's just a flexipage so we could add custom components if you think there's something helpful which isn't not possible with a standard dashboard.

Having more on the rules page could be nice as well, particularly seeing the progression of batch job runs which could be updated in response to the platform events (events are fired in each batch already so this should be mostly front end work).

Definitely happy to consider any additions / improvements!

I've missed that dashboard and come back to this when I have concrete additions for the dashboard.

Should this idea remain open, should it be closed or should a more concrete idea be formulated for later with regard to the 'on-the-fly' update on the rules pages?

Let's keep this open until you've had a chance to take a look at the dashboard. Then we can either close and open more specific issues or refine this a bit more depending on what you think
