From meeting March 2022 - can we reach out to the lesson maintainers to offer support on any of these lessons currently in the incubator?

Thanks for the Bat Signal, @davanstrien. Yes, we had definitely been hoping to get this lesson incorporated into the Library Carpentry curriculum. We think it's just about ready, and would love to chat more about what next steps would be.

After today's CAC meeting, I updated the details in @PhilReedData's spreadsheet for the Digital Humanities lesson. Phil has already covered the other two.

@MikeTrizna and @davanstrien would you like to join the LC CAC's session at CarpentryCon to chat about the next steps?

SESSION LEADS
Cody Hennesy, University of Minnesota
Phil Reed, University of Manchester

ABSTRACT
Members of the Library Carpentry Curriculum Advisory Committee (LC-CAC) propose to host a breakout discussion to give lesson maintainers, contributors, and those new to the LC curriculum a chance to meet and discuss process and content related to the LC core and extended lessons. We also invite Curriculum Advisory Committee members from the Software and Data Carpentries to share their experiences with curriculum development. LC-CAC will provide an introductory overview of their role, how they work with lesson maintainers, and current projects they're focusing on. The bulk of the session will be dedicated to open discussion on topics of interest or concern related to the LC curriculum: What suggestions do folks have for improving LC lessons? How do lessons move from the Incubator to the official LC curriculum? How and when are lessons vetted for deprecation? How can major changes to existing lessons be proposed and implemented? How can you get involved working on a particular lesson or topic? Expected outcomes for the session: to build connections among members of the LC-CAC with lesson maintainers and current/potential contributors; to surface potential future projects for the LC-CAC to focus on in the coming year.

That sounds good, I will do my best to join that session.
