I'm officially stepping down as maintainer of this package. I was an active user for a brief period of time six years ago and, despite maintaining it since then, I haven't truly used it in those six years. I was never able to devote the time needed by this project and even today there are many opened issues and forsaken PRs. My passion lies in building Node.js server software (my new book on this topic comes out soon!) but this project really needs a maintainer with a passion for hardware.

Say.js is all yours again, @Marak, though I suspect you don't use this package anymore either.

Two years ago I spoke about Node.js security at a meetup, and @ErickWendel spoke immediately after me, and he said that the package sucked, not knowing that I was maintainer. It was probably the funniest thing that ever happened at a meetup I attended. I think he had some ideas for improvement and might be interested in maintaining the project.

Lol, I came here with an issue and see this old post. What a kick in the nuts. I mean yeah, so far it kinda does suck but it's also the only one I can get to work with my setup so hey thanks for the work you did. This stuff aint easy.
