Great that there are examples but there is no explanation on what is being done or how to use the cmdlets
How are groups moved around within a task sequence? I have tried using the method described on add-cmtasksequencestep to no avail:
step4
group5
step5.1
step5.2
step5.3
group5.4
step5.4.1

Hi @AlBrough, I did a lot of testing with this last year, but I may not have explicitly tested the MoveToIndex parameter with Set-CMTaskSequenceGroup. There's a lot of overlap and commonality between the various cmdlets of this type, so some level of copy/paste between them. I created an internal backlog work item to someday create some better conceptual content to help explain how all of these related cmdlets work together and can be used. So on our radar, but don't have a timeline as to when we might get to it.
We have limited resources to maintain the over 1100 cmdlet articles for this module (along with the 3200 articles in ConfigMgr core docs). Starting with version 2002, the article for any new cmdlet should be mostly complete. For any older cmdlet articles, they're honestly not our highest priority due to relatively low page views.
We rely on community support from members like you to assist. If you have a sample example to share for this cmdlet, you can either share that via this feedback system, or submit an edit to the article to contribute your example. For more information, see How to contribute.
