Node JS - socket io / real time capabilities

Technical requirement:

1. As a developer, it would be a great approach if my boilerplate had a structure/headstart ready for real-time mechanism structure
2. An example of this can be socket io
3. Live chat is nowadays a common example that many projects demand
4. Having this as a part of our boilerplate will really save the developers time & also boost his confidence when client demands such a scenario

This can initially start with a group chat-based mechanism structure. Further depending on more R&D, can be tried to extend to a one on one chat approach.
