I don't know if this is relevant or not. But, we have set the Authorization setting to denied by default. |

Thanks for your quick reply but this has been changed awhile ago to readable because I'm getting my CGM data from my libreview account ! What I would like to see is the format of the key in the text editor. This is how mine looks like : export LOOP_APNS_KEY= I tried many different ways to format this but nothing is working. I had the same problem with my RPI4 and finally figured it out after many many tries. When something is multi line its always a problem ! |

I have been using Nightscout (on my RPI4) with Loop and the Caregiver apps for quite some time now and everything has been working great. I installed the Nightscout on my Google VPS as a backup just in case something would happen to my main RPI4 system.
Tragedy did strike my home installation because of my ISP and not longer is functional since the Christmas break (2 weeks now). I switched to my Google VPS Nightscout and everything went smoothly except for my caregiver app, which isn't needed since everyone is home for the Christmas break. (INightscout VPS with Loop was previously tested also just in case of an emergency). BTW, thank you for the great documentation and work to make this easy to setup because it makes it much quicker and has everything needed !!
Now, since I'M not too sure how long I will be using my Nightscout Google VPS system, I would like to have my Caregiver app working again. I entered all the information (copy and pasted) from my RPI4 variables to my NS VPS variables adjusting the proper format. Its not working. I followed all the proper instructions for initiating the tokens etc as in the loop caregiver docs etc but when trying to cancel the over-rides in NS-VPS i get the error for the token.
If someone has this working, can you send me a screenshot of how your LOPP-APNS_KEY is entered exactly in the NS-VPS because every system has its format for characters and the : or the = being used instead etc ... Because the key is also multi-line, this creates sometimes a problem. I encountered this when I first setup my RPI4 and had to try multiple times adjusting the formatting until I finally found the proper format which worked. I'm 100% sure that this is the problem. I tried using both methods to enter the key : using the text editor (nano) or by using the web interface, through the menus, and still got the same results.
I prefer using the text editor (nano) because its easier to visualize and enter information.
