I am a members of china local odoo cummunity. some of my team mate try to help OCA upgrade iot modules to 16.0.

all the modules can be installed successfully on latest odoo16.0 community version.

Now we are not sure how to set up a environment for basic test before send PR here.

Do we have any document for reference ?

Unfortunately, there is no valid document. User documents and Technical documents, both are very important and we have to start documentation as soon as possible. I`ve reviewed the code to find out how it works. It is very helpful to setup a GitHub website.

Hello, what exactly is used as an iot box on the client side? Do I need a subscription?

OCA/IoT does not support IoT box. It adds an endpoint that devices send metrics directly to the server.

Communication System, Device and IO is used to translate incoming metric into Odoo models.

I think its time to have a site for odoo IoT.
