👋 Hi @conorryan8,

Thanks for reaching out! We value your feedback and will do our best to address your issue promptly. Sometimes, we may need to investigate further, but we'll usually get back to you within 2 days with an update. Please stay tuned.

This is an automated response from our GitHub App. Here's the AI-generated message:

It appears that you are encountering an issue where the adaptive card preview does not match what is shown in Microsoft Teams. This can be a frustrating experience, especially when trying to ensure the accuracy of your card designs.

Here are some steps and suggestions to help troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

  1. Verify Card JSON Schema Compliance:
Ensure that your adaptive card JSON is compliant with the latest schema version supported by Microsoft Teams. Using the Adaptive Cards Designer can help validate your card's JSON structure.

  2. Check Teams Version:
Confirm that you are using the latest version of Microsoft Teams. Sometimes, preview discrepancies can be due to outdated clients that do not support the latest features or schema versions.

  3. Use Consistent Environments:
Make sure that the environment where you are previewing the card matches the environment in Teams where you intend to deploy it. Differences in environments can sometimes lead to discrepancies.

  4. Inspect the Preview and Actual Implementations:
Compare the card JSON used in the preview with what is rendered in Teams. There might be subtle differences or unsupported elements that cause the preview to diverge from the actual rendering.

  5. Manual Testing in Teams:
Although less convenient, manually testing the card by sending it in a Teams chat or channel can provide the most accurate representation of how it will appear to users.

  6. Refer to Microsoft Documentation:
Check the official documentation for Adaptive Cards in Teams for any known issues or limitations that could affect rendering.

  7. Report the Issue:
If the problem persists, consider reporting it on platforms like GitHub where the Teams Toolkit issues are tracked. Provide detailed information, including the JSON of the adaptive card and screenshots of the discrepancies. Here is an example of a related issue: GitHub Issue #8566.

By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially correct the issue with your adaptive card previews. If the problem is a bug or limitation within Teams, providing feedback to the development team can help them address it in future updates.
