Some potential fixes:

• user censorship, accounts being deleted -> data ownership via Solid
• vendor lock-in, community is trapped -> ohn protocol based on ActivityPub
• paywall, restricted access, decisions bad for the community -> software infrastructure as commons: open-source (AGPL), community driven development (C4), community-centered features, democratic governance
