For EC-Earth3 r3i1p1f1 historical, the latitudes are cut shorter than for EC-Earth3 r3i1p1f1 ssp585, EC-Earth3 r1i1p1f1 historical and EC-Earth3 r1i1p1f1 585 (these 3 have exactly the same latitudes).

eg. -88.76695 vs -88.76695135.

This breaks xscen. We need to rewrite EC-Earth3 r3i1p1f1 historical latitudes with the one from ssp585.

This could be doable. We would need to offer a new function for comparing/checking compatible trees of datasets. Let's hash something out here.
