After a recent BIOS update one of my temp sources failed to be detected and needed to be reassigned causing my CPU fan not to spool up under load until I noticed the issue. FanControl was able to detect this and prompt an alert, but only after I noticed the issue and opened up the main window from tray. A notification + tray icon warning would be a great improvement to this warning functionality.
