Increment symbol (∆) displayed incorrectly

Describe the bug

When ∆ is shown on the site, it is rendered as an Omega.

This is not exactly reproducible on https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Nunito?preview.text=%E2%88%86.

Note that this is not the Greek letter Delta, which renders correctly (led to confusion in #2995).

Steps to reproduce

1. Copy this: ∆
2. Paste it into a new check-in or your display name

This bug may possibly be fixed by updating the font.
