Cloned the project, opened in the required version of Unity (2020.3.41f1). Imported the plant package from the asset store. Switched to Android. Tried to build and got the errors listed below.

It looks like something in the project wants a newer version of Gradle than that which ships with 2020.3.41f1. Rather than upgrade Gradle I changed the project to Unity 2022.3.1.f1. This required me to update the Android SDK to version 29. I was unsuccessful at getting Android SDK version 29 installed but I noticed that version 31 and 32 were installed so I switched to 32 and it failed for Gradle issues. Then I switched to version 31 and it failed for Gradle issues as well:

Cloned the project, opened in the required version of Unity (2020.3.41f1). Imported the plant package from the asset store. Switched to Android. Tried to build and got the errors listed below.
It looks like something in the project wants a newer version of Gradle than that which ships with 2020.3.41f1. Rather than upgrade Gradle I changed the project to Unity 2022.3.1.f1. This required me to update the Android SDK to version 29. I was unsuccessful at getting Android SDK version 29 installed but I noticed that version 31 and 32 were installed so I switched to 32 and it failed for Gradle issues. Then I switched to version 31 and it failed for Gradle issues as well:
