So it appears that the screensaver always logs off the user if multiple users were configured, even if we do not do it ourselves explicitly. Which is weird because both builtin Kodi screensavers Black and Dim do not have that behaviour.
If you enable "User log off" you will noticed you have to type in your Pin twice, so it clearly is doing it under the hood.
