Some users have requested that settings (toggle on and off) should be password protected so the user doesn't disable the extension whenever they want (to resist themselves essentially) .

technically this wouldn't work due to Firefox and chrome just allowing you to turn off extensions in settings, instead it would be better to add extra steps to an installation guide with extra anti-nsfw help via things like cloudflare's DNS for anti adult content and whatever else there is. This would still product the same effect if not better of "is it really something I want to go out of my way to do"

First of all thank you for your suggestion, But I think your idea about the blocking need some adjustment , I mean : the user who want to resist his self can use :
1- Pluckeye (a powerfull freemuim/free tool for those who want to get out of any kind of addiction (e.g..social media , p*rn and so on) )
2- Using a pluckeye fueature called require : which is for requiring a certain extention to be installed on the user browser and if it disabelled or uninstalled the Internet will gone!
:) simple , but this approach will need an extention that is password protected > and this why password protection is important!
