To reduce scroll wheel aches and pains, but still enjoy all the insights / malformed ideas that fellow news hackers leave in comments, it would be prize worthy to allow selection and navigation between comment collection view cells via keyboard keys (e.g., arrows and spacebar).

Nice job on the app!!

Could you please explain a bit more about it? You would like to navigate the story comments using the arrow keys? And what does the spacebar do in this context?

Story comments already supports keyboard navigation. You can use the arrow keys to navigate. Make sure the story is focussed. It moves slowly but you can increase the step if you use the fn key in addition.

@anosidium I think it means that you could press arrow keys to jump to next top-level comment. Currently the arrow keys kinda just scroll the comments, and if you’re in the middle of a long comment thread it can be hard to find the next top-level comment. Or if this isn’t what OP meant, then I’d like to make that feature request 😊

Or maybe there could be alternative keyboard shortcut for jumping to next top comment, like Option+Down or something simple like that. And there could be UI buttons for jumping to next/previous top comment.
