Configuration error

Hello all,
After installing LaserGRBL, I tried to adapt the configuration to my hardware (GRBL/Configure).
Apparently I have done it wrong, for I ended up with a a blank configuration window
and a message "Error while reading config".
Then I deleted the complete LaserGRBL folder and re-installed LaserGRBL in a different folder.
Note : Before the re-installation I cleaned my system (registry included) and even reloaded the firmware to the 3D printer.
However, the problem is not solved, still the same blank configuration window and errormessage!
What has happened ? Where resides config ?, Please help me, I'm out of ideas!!

My system :
LaserGRBL V4.9.4 on Windows11
Hardware : Kingroon KP3S Pro-FDM, with added laserhead.
Firmware (laser included) Robin_nano.bin (Kingroon 20230706T111455Z-001.zip)

Regarding the above, now I think the configuration is stored in RAM of the hardware.
If so, , then it possibly has been corrupted or even erased, can it be restored , please how ?
