Thumbor filters and SVG files

Hi,
Can thumbor filters be applied directly to SVG files? If so, is there a specific set of filters that can only be used or should all filters work?

The reason I ask is that when I apply the grayscale filter to the cloudfront URL pointing to the SVG file, I get a 404 error.
When no filter is added to the cloudfront URL, I can see the SVG file without issue.

If filters cannot be applied directly to the SVG file, would it be possible to use the format filter to convert the svg to png and then apply the grayscale filter - eg

mysubdomain.cloudfront.net/filters:format(png)/filters:grayscale()/path-to-vector.svg

Solution: Ensure the .svg extension is added to the list of behaviours in the cloudfront distribution 🙈
Once this was added, I could see the filters applied correctly
