Preset "Bass\Bass Is The Place": defaulted to Settings: Play: Default Trigger Mode being neither On Any Keypress nor On Start on in Release (legato). It didn't retrigger unless the voice died after release; instead it modified pitch even with single note-down events. Unfortunately, I can't now reproduce, so it's just a smell of some state-setting/init not happening.
