I stuck the extra symbols on QWERTY-es ISO and one of my layouts which was actually designed for English but seems to do okay, at least on KLA.
Since the Magic Diacritic Key route may not be viable in the real world, I went the AltGr route.
I have not attempted to optimise anything yet, but given the initial frequency order of
⍽eaosnrildtcump⮠,b.gvqyhófíájzEé
it may make sense to replace three of k, w, x, ñ with ó, á, é ... maybe keep x for ZXCV sake.
qwerty-es (updated) (ISO)
poqtea-qp.es (ANSI, but with the other ISO layouts)
Spanish version of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, just to have something until I sort out the chained bigrams.
Arno, you can use these as references to measure your layouts against.

Hi
I stuck the extra symbols on QWERTY-es ISO and one of my layouts which was actually designed for English but seems to do okay, at least on KLA.
Since the Magic Diacritic Key route may not be viable in the real world, I went the AltGr route.
I have not attempted to optimise anything yet, but given the initial frequency order of
⍽eaosnrildtcump⮠,b.gvqyhófíájzEé
it may make sense to replace three of k, w, x, ñ with ó, á, é ... maybe keep x for ZXCV sake.
I have added these to https://klanext.keyboard-design.com/ :
qwerty-es (updated) (ISO)
poqtea-qp.es (ANSI, but with the other ISO layouts)
Spanish version of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, just to have something until I sort out the chained bigrams.
Arno, you can use these as references to measure your layouts against.
