Issue with Upgrading pip to the latest version

I'm having following Python pip issue when tried to install howdy.. Please help

Yup, still same. System-wide package installation has been disallowed on latest python versions without that flag

Same issue. Apparently howdy' installation script needs to be updated to reflect this change.

I have an issue too. Not exactly the same but close, a Python problem.
Unfortunately it would seem the developer of Howdy has disappeared.

Maybe not disappeared but I definitely have way way less time to spend on Howdy now and large changes are needed. I'll look at PRs but I'm not sure I can contribute much myself anymore

This looks like a workaround with a unofficial PPA. Did not test it yet. Maybe the changes done there can be used to fix the main repo.
