In Cinny web client I'm able to paste an image into Cinny, but in the desktop client I'm unable to paste the same image.

No error, nothing visually important. Just does not respond to ctrl+v.

Installed using Flatpak, running latest version. Ubuntu 22.04.

Tauri don't support that yet, see tauri-apps/tao#232

I have the same issue. Being able to paste images from the clipboard, for me, is quite a crucial feature.

  • Cinny v2.2.6 (Flatpak)
  • Arch Linux, Kernel v6.4.11-arch2-1
  • KDE Plasma v5.27.7

I have the same issue with the flatpak. This is a crucial feature for me as well.

Just reinstalled Cinny because again I am really annoyed by the other client i am using that doesn't support decrypting received images... only to re-learn why i might have gone back... I can't Ctrl+V screenshots, which i am doing multiple times day. Luckily this is adressed and there seems some fix... but this is going on for so long... I need to ask: when will this fix/solution hit the Flathub version?
