the url in installation guide is not working

More specifically: all links to tesla.hpl.hp.com are broken (name does not resolve in DNS).

In particular this means that at https://github.com/dataseries/DataSeries/wiki there are broken links to:

• technical report - also linked from https://github.com/dataseries/DataSeries/wiki/Dataseries-user-guide
• Lintel-NEWS - possibly should point here
• DataSeries-NEWS - in two places - possibly should point here
• DataSeries-latest.tar.bz2
• the sources directory - maybe no more tarball releases, have to download from github?

Of these, the most serious omission appears to be the technical report. Maybe it has been subsumed by the User Guide

However the User Guide has very little about programming with the API. It would be useful to link to the examples as a way to get started.

candlerb, thanks for the detailed list of problems. It was a great timesaver in getting the links corrected.

I still need to correct the instructions for getting and building DS, which are woefully out of date.
