First step could be adding an !events feature that simple replies with upcoming events. This can read from the same public API that the website reads from.

After that, it might be nice to send event reminders of upcoming events automatically. (Maybe the day before for in-person events & 2 hours before for online events, as an example.)

Eventually it might be nice to send DM event reminders to individuals based on their attendance.
