Is it possible to register a Voice assistant PE device as a SIP end point?

Is it possible to register a HA Voice PE device as a SIP end point so it can connect to FreePBX for example? Seeing as last year was the year of voice this seems to a missing feature/ integration for voice assistant PE. This would allow people to have real-time conversations using multiple HA Voice PE devices within the HA ecosystem via an IP PBX.

Not only that, it opens up the possibility to make connections to other SIP endpoints/ and any telephone via VoIP and the PSTN especially as in the UK all residential analogue telephone lines are now being converted to VoIP with the broadband router having essentially a SIP ATA in them. A less robust solution but none the less this is the path the UK are going.

I have seen a few projects for esp32 on GitHub regarding using it as a SIP endpoint, but I am asking if this feature is already available or planned for HA Voice PE devices?
