Hi,
First time user here and I seem to have messed something up.

https://etherscan.io/address/0x9B1c35bF4a35a6AE35A769E211e40f6DE0572Eee

I'll try to sum this up here, take a look at the link above.

I started a smart contract in Remix.
I transferred ETH to the contract.
I thought I had to start the contract again so I started it again in Remix.
I withdrew from Remix hoping it would pull all of it back out.
I again tried to withdraw from Remix hoping it would pull all of it back out.

Now I'm just sitting here lost. Looking at the .43 that I transferred but I don't see it anywhere.

Any assistance or information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

At this point, I think this was a scam. I did all of this following a YouTube video that I had seen over the holidays. I feel like an idiot, and I'm actually fairly intelligent, so this is quite embarrassing. I hope this doesn't happen to others.

It wants you to create a smart contract using this code: https://copycode-ether.com/a39/

I ran that through ChatGPT and it flagged as suspicious and not to use it. Of course I only did this after the fact.

This all sounds like a giant scam again at this point.

The instructions you received for navigating and connecting your wallet on generalwebfixes.web.app raise several red flags commonly associated with phishing or scam attempts:
Key Concerns:

Unverified Platform: The site is not officially recognized as a legitimate support service for Ethereum Remix or any other major blockchain service. Engaging with it could put your funds at risk.

Request for Wallet Connection: Scam sites often ask users to connect their wallets under the guise of resolving issues or enhancing security. This can lead to unauthorized access to your wallet and potential loss of funds.

Barcode Keys for Dispute Resolution: Legitimate blockchain platforms do not require users to generate barcode keys or manually synchronize wallets for resolving disputes. Such instructions are typically indicative of a scam designed to steal private keys or sensitive information.

Recommended Actions:

Do Not Proceed: Avoid connecting your wallet to the site. Disconnect from any services that you've inadvertently linked to it.
Secure Your Wallet: If you've already interacted with the site, consider moving your funds to a new wallet with fresh private keys and enabling additional security measures like two-factor authentication.
Report the Incident: Notify the relevant authorities or platforms (such as Ethereum Remix or your wallet provider) about the fraudulent site to help prevent others from falling victim.

For legitimate issues related to Ethereum Remix or any wallet concerns, only use verified and official resources or contact support through established, secure channels.

No, this does not seem legitimate. Here’s why you should avoid engaging with Telegram accounts or groups like this one:

Common Scamming Tactic:
Telegram is often used by scammers who promise services like "recovering stolen funds" or "hacking into accounts" to take advantage of victims.
These individuals frequently ask for upfront payments or access to your accounts, and they rarely, if ever, deliver on their promises.

No Guarantees in Fund Recovery:
Once funds are sent to a blockchain address, the chances of recovering them are extremely low unless you know the exact recipient and they willingly return the funds.
Anyone claiming to guarantee recovery, especially without verifying details, is likely a scammer.

Red Flags:
The use of "blackhat" or hacker-related terminology is a warning sign. Legitimate services would not advertise themselves in such a way.
Telegram has limited oversight, and anyone can create an account or channel claiming to offer expert services.

Risk of Additional Losses:
Contacting such accounts can expose you to further scams, phishing attempts, or malware.
Sharing personal details or private keys with these accounts could result in more funds being stolen.

What You Should Do Instead:

Focus on Legitimate Resources:
Report the incident to the platform (e.g., Etherscan, MetaMask).
File a report with organizations like the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) or your local authorities.
Consider seeking help from a reputable blockchain security firm (e.g., Chainalysis, CipherTrace).

Educate Yourself:
Learn about crypto security and best practices to avoid similar incidents in the future.

Avoid engaging with Telegram accounts like this—they're almost certainly scams targeting people who've already suffered losses.
