  • In header
  • Search field turns into new page name field
  • Create as sub-page of current one
    • Check box?
    • Pre-filled text?

Kind of fixed by #23, but not that discoverable. Then again an extra button right beside the search field seems like too much duplication. Maybe a button somewhere else (material style?) ...

It would easily be possible to add a link to create the page with a simple <a href="?do=edit">, however this is only possible in the language files, so it would be a case for fablab-luenen/dokuwiki-preconfigured.

It may be possible to do some extra conditional checks in the theme, including for permissions.

However the complexity and portability may be such that it would be a better fit for a plug-in ...

Something like this would be pretty portable between themes

Maybe not low priority because it may create quite a bit of UX friction ("huh, where's that button???"), especially with the slightly hard to recognize icon (#20).
