Replacing of external (usb) flash DS213

Greetings! I had a problem with my DS213, the external USB flash drive stopped being read/written (the USB disk is not readable, calibration every time it is turned on).. please tell me if I need to do something beforehand with a new flash chip or can I just replace it with a new one?

I honestly tried to figure out the code myself and figure out whether it was necessary to pre-prepare the flash drive or not, but I'm too stupid to fully understand the existing order of flash initialization..

Have you tried doing full format? I remember reading a thread about it. If you replace it, you will need to format the new one.

Yes, was that advice ?an Italian? from the official forum, but neither windows tools nor gparted could do this
