Videomass Installation Instructions and buildings
BASE DEPENDENCIES

- Python >=3.7.0
- wxPython-Phoenix >=4.0.7
- PyPubSub
- requests
- FFmpeg (with ffplay and ffprobe) >=4.3
Optionals:
- youtube_dl
- yt-dlp
- atomicparsley (to embed thumbnail in audio file)
Videomass can be run without installing by unpack the source package archive
and executing the "launcher" script inside the root Videomass directory.
cd Videomass
python3 launcher
Videomass can also be imported from the Python3 console (interactive mode):
>>> from videomass import gui_app
>>> gui_app.main()

Installing with pip tool: (Linux, MacOs, FreeBSD, Windows, etc.)
$ python3 -m pip install --user videomass
Upgrading with pip tool: (Linux, MacOs, FreeBSD, Windows, etc.)
$ python3 -m pip install --user -U videomass
- To uninstall:
$ python3 -m pip uninstall videomass

Build as executable (Linux, Windows, MacOs)
require: pyinstaller
Use the 'develop/tools/pyinstaller_setup.py' script like this
$ python3 develop/tools/pyinstaller_setup.py -h
Then choose the option you want.

Build as AppImage (only Linux)
Use the 'develop/tools/AppImage_build.sh' script
It will make a Videomass AppImage on current directory by installing the latest
version on PYPI
