I was able to connect via ssh on port 22222 but I still was not able to access the relevant directory. So finally I plugged the SSD I am running Home Assistant on to my windows machine and edited the config.txt there..
I added this option also in the instructions:
@jens-maus maybe worth checking:
if you are using an rasperry pi with Windows and not very familiar with Linux you may also plug in the sd card or ssd drive into your windows machine and edit the config.txtwith your windows machine
