Would you mind if the project backlog was removed? #2621

I use the project backlog primarily as a way of differentiating priority - 'wishlist' items tend to go in the backlog. So if you were considering a priority system (it can be tag based as in the example from your blog, and this would be good from a portability/compatibility standpoint too, but would still be better if there were options for filtering/sorting based on priority etc within the individual project views) then it seems like that would eventually make the backlog redundant. |

I use it to store tasks or ideas I might be interested to do at some point in the future. A bit like someday/maybe from GTD. |

Hello Johannes, I also need the backlog in the desktop version to move a subtask from one task to another. I do this frequently. This is not possible otherwise, because the list does not scroll when dragging a subtask. As an alternative, a menu entry of the subtask would be necessary, with which I could transfer the task specifically to another paren task. |

Backlog has been great to help "de-clutter" a given project of scheduled tasks; I find it very useful 👍 |

Personally I don't really need the project backlog any more since I am mostly working from the today list and the project lists are kind of backlogs by themselves. How about you?
