Firewall issues: is this android "app" just a wrapper for an HTML website? #3327
-
I was drawn to the phrase "there are no user accounts or registration. You decide where you store your data!". So I installed Super Productivity on my Android phone and when trying to launch the app I get the blank page with error "Internet page is not available. Page https://app.super-productivity.com can be loaded because: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" So the question is: is this "application" just a wrapper for an HTML website and requires a continuous internet connection to work? |

Yes, it is a wrapper, and no you don't need an internet connection more than once initially and every time you want to update the app. So once the app is loaded once, you can deactivate internet access. I know it is a bit unconventional, but this approach makes the deployment much easier. There quite a few platforms to cater to and I am just a single person, that earns almost no money with this. |
