Why Are Subtasks Not Available In Desktop App Or Web App In The Same Way As Android App #3425
-
My Environment
Expected BehaviorSubtasks should be above the Time category in a task's details/menu like in the Android app. Current BehaviorSubtasks are missing in desktop and web app task details/menu but are still there in Android app. QuestionI do know that you can add subtasks by either right-clicking a task and choosing the action or by using the "a" hotkey (or whatever I choose to rebind it to) when a task is selected. However, I didn't even know that the right-click menu existed or how to create subtasks till I came across this closed issue: #268 The right-click menu should really be covered in the tour since it's pretty important. I couldn't find it in the issues so should I create an issue for it? Should it be under "Feature Request"? However, even in the issue mentioned above @johannesjo asks about adding any additional UI. I think the phone app interface feels good and should be used. I do like that when you're in a subtask you can click a button to navigate (or use hotkey) to parent when you're in the details so it just makes sense for it to be the same when you're in the parent task's details. Should I open this as an issue? P.S. Just wanting to ask about these before creating issues. |
