Describe the bug
When using the footer links plugin to display related note links at the bottom of Obsidian pages, the embedded links become unstable and disappear when trying to click or access them. This makes it impossible to navigate to the linked notes.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install and enable the footer links plugin
  2. Add links to other notes in the footer section
  3. Try to click/access any of the embedded footer links
  4. The link disappears instead of navigating to the target note

Expected behavior
When clicking a footer link, it should:

  • Maintain visibility and stability
  • Navigate successfully to the target note
  • Behave like any other internal link in Obsidian
