Much like #82 provides a method of programmatically adding project definitions, and #83 might make the process of adding a project more convenient, an overall process for bulk adjustments, such as selecting multiple layers to be switched off by default. This could be in the form of admin commands or via a custom management interface specific to data vendors, as outlined in #84
