Unfortunately, our automated build infrastructure doesn't have any ARM runners (aside from MacOS), so we aren't able to build native binaries for those architectures. The existing ones are super-old and are just leftovers from our previous setup.
I just compiled the latest from main on my Orange Pi 5. Mega drive and SNES seems to be working great. Will try to get the compiled versions on a repo (if I find the time might even see if I can leverage my device to run builds).
Noticed on buildbot.libretro.com there are precompiled cores for armhf and arm7-neon-hf for nightly.
Would it be possible to also offer precompiled builds for aarch64 so Orange Pi users could get started quickly using retroarch?
Noticed stable does not have arm builds so unsure if there is a reason to not have aarch64. Appreciate the work!
