Add ability to push with commit

My team would love the ability to push at the same time as commit. Possibly a checkbox that can be enabled by default in Preferences? That way you don't have to run both commands separately.

I've done some initial work on a local branch - can I push it up to the repo? I've never contributed to someone else's work before so I'm not sure if I'm allowed.

You can push it to your repo and then create a pull request to this repo. GitHub created a nice guide: https://opensource.guide/how-to-contribute/#opening-a-pull-request

I have been working on it, but unfortunately some things came up. I will probably be able to finish things next week.
