I've done some initial work on a local branch - can I push it up to the repo? I've never contributed to someone else's work before so I'm not sure if I'm allowed. |
You can push it to your repo and then create a pull request to this repo. GitHub created a nice guide: https://opensource.guide/how-to-contribute/#opening-a-pull-request |

I have been working on it, but unfortunately some things came up. I will probably be able to finish things next week. |
My team would love the ability to push at the same time as commit. Possibly a checkbox that can be enabled by default in Preferences? That way you don't have to run both commands separately.
