PDL (as an example) gets de-indexed on MetaCPAN when a component module of it gets released #3245

Describe the bug

PDL has vast numbers of modules in it. I am fixing that by releasing many of them as independent distros. I do not wish to release PDL again till I have finished doing this.

To Reproduce

  • release a distro A with 3 modules A B C
  • release B as a distro
  • A disappears from search and it seems also MetaCPAN's idea of "indexed" modules A and C

Expected behavior

A would still be searchable, as would C. B would also be there, and give its new home.

Additional context

This was discussed on IRC the first time it came about (when I released PDL::Minuit). I released PDL::Transform::Proj4 yesterday, and now it is visible in its new home, and PDL is also visible again.

This may already be fixed, or a reindexing process may just have landed in a good state?
