AFAIK, there is no official data source icon, but please correct me if I'm wrong. In the Power BI ecosystem, we have dataflow / dataset as lowest item in the chain. Other than that, you always have database icons or icons from your specific source system that you can use in your drawings.

I'm not fully getting you I think. First you asked for a data source icon right? What has that to do with theme? And what do you want to achieve with a theme? Please elaborate

the json is the aggregation of all the png icons you have provided in this repo.
The file can be imported into a pbix (view>themes\browse for themes) and the PowerBI iconset will then be available in the conditional formatting etc options for fields/functions within the model. This just adds to the current pbix theme.

Am using the icons to identify datasets etc when consuming the Tenancy 'Health' (RESTAPI consumption of Workspaces/Dataflows/Datasets etc into a health dashboard). Helps the end user identify visually the entities.

Attached is a demo pbix (with the json imported and in use in a table visual.)
